We are a small family business from Münchehof am Harz in Lower Saxony. I founded the small business "Bretta-Manufaktur" in 2020. As a 3rd generation carpenter, I was practically born into the cradle of working with wood and I am very passionate about this profession, which is also reflected in my products.

I've always had a weakness for wood!
At some point, I realised that my job as a carpenter was no longer enough for me, so I set up a small hobby workshop. This has continued to develop to this day and I have specialised more and more in making unique and beautiful chopping boards and decorative items. Then, of course, my items also had to be sold to customers and so I opened my Etsy shop in 2020. Two years later, my "own" website and online shop followed to become more independent.
